Sky EC Heart-O-Pet 5 mg Tablets contain Pimobendan, an inodilator that helps improve the heart's pumping efficiency and supports cardiovascular function. It is indicated for dogs with mild to severe congestive heart failure (NYHA Class II–IV) associated with atrioventricular valvular insufficiency or dilated cardiomyopathy. It may also be used to delay the onset of congestive heart failure in certain dogs with preclinical Stage B2 myxomatous mitral valve disease, as determined by a veterinarian.
